The effects and impact of climate change are widespread and affects the networks on which the foundations of businesses are based. The Earth’s valuable resources are being put under pressure by a variety of factors including population increase and changing lifestyles.
Landfill in Britain is responsible for around 460,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions each year (21stcenturychallenges.org, 2021). As a company, we have a responsibility to ensure that the businesses we supply can rely on the products we provide to be sustainable and ethically produced. In addition, we need to provide the confidence that we are optimising our own business processes for sustainability, so that our customers are assured of their own contribution to sustainable practices.
