Achieving the perfect staff workwear rollout can be exhausting. Thoughts of long days with too many sizes to order and complaints to deal with springs to mind. At Enduro, we have simplified the process to achieve the perfect workwear. From your initial vision all the way to managing the distribution process, we will help you to roll-out your perfect workwear.
Below are the nine steps of our streamlined process that will leave you feeling confident and assured with your team’s workwear. We understand the importance of employee feedback throughout the process which will help you to achieve perfection.
Our Process
The process of workwear rollouts can be draining and tedious. We have streamlined the process to create a simple, stress-free experience. With one-third of our life spent at work (totalling nearly 90,000 hours over our lifetime), we believe that each person wearing your uniform should feel comfortable and confident in the clothing they wear.
1. Initial Meeting: Your Needs, Your Vision
The first step in our process is to listen to your vision for your brand. We value the objectives that are important to you and tailor our process to ensure your goals are met. We will provide expert advice about how to achieve your vision.
2. Proposal: Design and Craft the Perfect Solution
Our design team and fabric specialists will put together a range that matches your brief and meets the Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEM) brand guidelines. The importance of the wearer feeling comfortable and confident cannot be overstated, so we can provide a trial so that you can feel assured the garments suit your environment and needs.
3. Bringing Your Brand to Life
Your brand is fundamental to your business. Our origination team collaborates with your marketing team to ensure brand consistency across the board.
4. Finalise and Roll Out Schedule
Once you are completely satisfied with our products, we will finalise the range and establish a roll-out plan. This enables you to control the process without the headache of doing it alone.
5. Account and Setup
Once you are happy with your new range and rollout plan, we’ll set up your buyers and invoicing system to meet your requirements.
6. Your Bespoke Portal is Created
You will have a custom portal that makes management easy, so you can track your inventory and roll-out. The range will be added to this portal, by department of product type, and the correct branding and locations for each site/product are set up. All buyers are added to the relevant branches and/or correct departments. They are then notified with their login details. You will be able to see that your order complies and is consistent with what has been agreed for your site, giving you complete peace of mind.
7. Free Training Sessions for your Portal
We provide free training conferences via Teams or Zoom, so you feel completely assured. We will guide you through the simple five step ordering portal process to ensure that you and your buyers know the portal inside and out. This allows us to get to know your team and ensures the transition is as smooth as possible.
8. Workwear Roll Out and Delivery
Oftentimes this may be the most stressful part. With our help, we eradicate this stress and create a smooth process. We implement the agreed roll-out and visit all sites to ensure that each staff member has the correct workwear for their department and that they are comfortable with the product sizing. Whilst on site, the order is created and divided up to each staff member through our PersonPack System. The packages are labelled with the contents and the wearers’ names to prevent mix-ups. This removes the hassle of admin and allows you to track each order.
9. Account Maintenance
To ensure that the process remains smooth, your account manager can have regular meetings with the management team at HQ and site level to ensure that each site has the agreed workwear in place. We will ensure that each department has the correct workwear which matches OEM’s latest requirements, so you pass brand audits. We are here to help every step of the way and won’t be satisfied until you are.
Why Should You Have a Trial Before the Rollout?
A trial prior to a uniform roll-out is essential, but is often skipped. In theory, the plan for the roll-out may seem foolproof, but in practice this may not be the case. Trying to manage problems across a company-wide scale leads to more difficulties and takes up unnecessary time.
Trials provide you with the opportunity to reduce the risk of roll-out failure. It’s key that you begin your trial with a clear idea of success. Then in a smaller-scale trial, you can see if you achieve these goals and if not, you can analyse what needs to be changed to achieve them.
A trial will boost employee engagement because it demonstrates that you value their opinion on what directly concerns them. They will likely have valuable feedback that, if you implement it, will reduce problems down the road.
Having solid data of what went right and what went wrong allows you to easily identify any issues and solve them before they grow.
The Importance of Wearer Feedback
Feedback is important throughout the roll-out process. Before any decisions are made, those who will be wearing the uniform should be consulted. If you have a large team, this can be achieved via a focus group or company survey. There are two key areas that require employee feedback – the beginning of the process and the end.
Your employees are your best asset, and it is important that you include them in a change that directly affects them. Obtaining constructive feedback from the get-go can help to mitigate risks, ensure your uniform works best for its purpose and show that you value your team, thus leading to higher morale.
After the roll-out, it is again essential that you collect employee feedback. What went well? Would they change anything? Feedback allows you to do three major things: catch any snags so you can remedy any problems immediately, evaluate what went wrong and learn from it, and show that you value your employees, which drives high morale and productivity.
